Peregrine is yet another of Hafeez Contractors uniquely treated high-rise towers. It is a 22-storey podium-and-tower design. The terrace of the podium houses the swimming pool and health club facilities. The residential flats begin from the second storey. From the second to the eighth storey, each floor has 3, 2-bedroom flats. From the ninth to twentieth storeys, each floor has 2, 3-bedroom flats. The twenty-first and twenty-second storeys are duplex penthouses The site, being an elongated
one, posed several constraints but the final outcome turned out quite satisfactory.
the unusual feature of the design is a 8’ cantilever refuge area, deemed
necessary statutory authorities for fire-fighting. The inspiration for
the elevation of the building came from the movie, ’ Batman.’ (or Darth
Vader in StarWars)The building tower is setback so that a certain amount
of frontage is allowed, while the podium covers almost the entire site.
